Rwanda to Build Ecotourism Park in Kigali (Iran Daily – Sunday, 2 December 2018) — Rwanda’s capital city Kigali will be home to a 134 hectare urban park in the city’s biggest valley in 2020. The Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-Tourism Park will conserve wetlands and habitat for wildlife while providing walking and cycling trails, fish ponds and botanical gardens forresidents and tourists. High Level Policy Dialogue on Green Growth and Climate Resilience Strategy & Launch of NDC Partnership Plan (Ministry of Environment Flickr – Monday, 26 November 2018) — The first session of the Africa Green Growth Forum took stock of lessons to date and provided orientation on how green growth will support the realisation of a climate resilient future through the National Strategy for Transformation. It provided a policy level synopsis on sector specific implementation of the GGCRS and how the strategy will accelerate achievement of sector specific targets over the NST period and beyond.
